Duration of the lease:
Usually, the lease is given for 1 year renewable, but it can also be for 3, 5 or 6 months, or more than one year if both parts agree.
The monthly rent:
Is usually inclusive of all building charges ( maintenance , elevator , caretaker salary, aso). It may include expenses for heating & hot water, if provided by the building.
the deposit: 2 months for a furnished flat ( one for an unfurnished rental ).
Extra expenses:
Electricity, gas, telephone, internet, TV cable suscription & bills.
Insurance:
The tenant has to be covered by a “multi-risk household insurance ” covering all risks for your personal ownings as well as the furniture provided.
Rental fees:
Based on the duration of the lease, to be paid by the tenant in case of a furnished lease, by both parts in case of an empty one.
